TED Talks

Today TED Talks are known all around the word. And, to be honest, I’m not surprised at all – why shouldn’t the world fall in love with such a good idea?  

For those of you who haven’t heard about the conferences yet (however I don’t think it’s very likely) - TED Talks are about twenty minutes long powerful speeches on variety of topics. From psychology through business and technology to ones that are trying to explain how the world functions – everyone surely will find something for himself.  

TED Talks are addressed to people who seek about a deeper understanding of the world and want to learn something new. The aim of the organisation is to spread ideas. The speakers at the events are writers, politicians and the experts in various fields. People who have discovered something and want to share it with others. Practically every TED lecture is full of fascinating knowledge, interesting ideas and creative solutions. 

TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged, but quickly became famous all over the word. Today the conferences are taking place in more than 100 cities, also in Poland. The last one in Poznań was entitled: “Do we really have to?”
